Return of Simple now on Pandora Radio
You can now have a Return of Simple channel on Pandora and find other bands that feature acoustic rock instrumentation, mild syncopation, vocal-centric aesthetic, acoustic sonority, major key tonality, jazz influences, subtle use of vocal harmony, and acoustic rhythm piano...or that's at least partially how Pandora describes our music.

We've moved!
That's right, folks! We packed our bags, loaded the piano and transplanted ourselves from illustrious Parma Heights to New York City! Don't be sad, fellow Clevelanders. Cleveland will always be our home, and we'll be back soon enough to play for you all. But for now, our sites are set on NYC. We've already had our first show on Sept. 6 and it was great! We've got a few more lined up already. New Yorkers, check the shows page and mark your Google calenders! See you all soon!

a quiet evening.
so rob had the idea of using our news feed as a blog, so here's goes nothing. or, rather, here goes something. we're getting a lot of snow here in parma heights, and it's beautiful, but in a sad way. at least that's how i feel about it. snowy evenings have a gentleness about them, like lace, but also a kind of unquiet solitude. it's sometimes as though you're the only one that exists to watch it fall, and it'd be unbearably lonely if it weren't so damn wonderful. there's a piece of music by claude debussy that i think captures my feelings on snowfall pretty well. it's called "des pas sur la neige," which means "footsteps in the snow." if you listen close enough, you can hear them plod along. but where are they going? and, perhaps more importantly, where have they come from? here's the link on free napster (no subscription req'd): des pas sur la neige hope you all enjoy. gct

we just got a new drummer! he has joined the band just in time for our four upcoming shows and hopefully an upcoming an album. in addition to being a great musician, he is an honest and just man. he's just what we've been looking for. and as far as band chemistry goes, he fits in just right. please welcome, JUSTIN HOFMANN! (you can check him out by adJUSTINg your eyes to the right towards our new band photo!) rob
